Thomas B Mitchell 1852-1936, son of Matthew Mitchell 1819-1895 & Margaret Barry 1818-1894 of Ballybricken, Co. Limerick, married Anne (Annie) Noonan 1855-1890, daughter of Thomas Noonan & Johanna Laffan on Jan 27th 1876 in Monaleen RC, Limerick City.
Children born to them at Ballybricken included Margaret Mitchell 1877, Johanna Mary (Josie) 1878-1907, Catherine (Kate) 1880, Mary Agnes (Minnie) 1881-1909, Matthew (Matt) 1883-1883, Matthew N 1884-1970, Teresa 1885-1885, Angela 1887-1974 & Jane 1888.
Mary Agnes (Minnie) Mitchell 1881-1909, married James Hogan 1877-1922, son of Edmond Hogan & Kate Kirby of Rathjordan, Caherelly, Co. Limerick on Mar 1st 1905 in St Saviours RC, Limerick City. Children born to them at Kilculleen, Ballybricken included Edmond Francis Hogan 1905-1905, Anne Mary 1907, Edmond Joseph 1908 & Thomas Francis 1909. Their mother Minnie died of complications due to childbirth.
Widower James Hogan 1877-1922 remarried to Minnie's sister Angela Mitchell 1887-1974 in Ballybricken RC on Mar 21st 1917. A son, James Gerard Hogan was born to them at Kilculleen, Ballybricken on Jan 21st 1920.
Widow Angela Hogan (nee) Mitchell 1887-1974, was recorded as a boarder at St Alphonsus Rd, Drumcondra, Dublin in the 1926 census. Angela died on Dec 13th i974 i.n St Columcille's Hospital, Loughlinstown, Dublin. Two addresses wer recorded on her death cert, Rossard, Ballybricken, Co. Limerick & Kilmacud House, Stillorgan, Dublin. In 1974 Kilmacud House was occupied by the Sisters of Our Lady of Charity and utilised by them as a home for elderly ladies.
