John O’Donnell ( 1810-1885) married Margaret Gorman in Kilteely RC, Co. Limerick on the 4th Mar 1851. Children born to them at Carrigkettle, Kilteely were Michael O’Donnell in Jan 1852, John  in Aug 1853 & Patrick in Nov 1855.

Michael O’Donnell ( 1852 - ) married  Margaret  Ryan ( 1852 - ), daughter of  Timothy Ryan & Maria O’Brien of Carnane, Fedamore, Co. Limerick on the 6th Oct 1878 in Fedamore RC. Michael’s occupation at the time of his marriage was a recorded as a grocer in Limerick City. His occupation when his children were born was recorded as a commercial traveller & commission agent. His children were an unnamed son, born  10th Sep 1891 and who died ten minutes after being born,  John Joe O’Donnell 1892-1982, of this memorial  & Mary Anne ( Marian ) 1894-1977, also of this memorial.

John Joe O’Donnell 1892-1982, of this memorial, a postman, married  Hanora ( Nora ) Ryan 1906-1990, also of this memorial, a daughter of postman Laurence Ryan 1863-1933 & Ellen Condon 1868-1912 of Moymore & later of Lisheen, Pallasgrean, Co. Limerick on the 8th Aug 1935 in Templebredon RC, Co. Limerick.

Their son, Laurence ( Bobby ) O’Donnell 1938-2023, a retired postman, died on the 25th Jan 2023 and was interred in a new grave beside the adjacent memorial  0040 in this cemetery. His obituary reads as follows :

The death has occurred of Bobby O'Donnell of Carrigkettle, Kilteely, Co. Limerick on the 25th January 2023 at Nenagh General Hospital, Co. Tipperary

Deeply regretted by his sisters Peggy Ryan and Elma Gleeson, brothers in law, Sean Ryan & David Gleeson, nephews Declan & Robert Ryan and niece, Kay Healy, nee Ryan. relatives and many friends.

 Reposing at Cill Bríde, Kilteely on Friday evening 27th Jan from 5pm to 7pm. Requiem mass on Saturday in St. Patrick's and St. Bridget's Church, Kilteely at 11.30am. Burial immediately afterwards in Kilteely cemetery.
