The Honourable Peirce Butler Cooper was the son of Somerset Hamilton Butler the 1st Earl of Carrick  Who built  Mount Juliet House and what is known as the White Bridge  over the river Nore in 1762,  joining BallyLynch to Waltons Grove  he called his new  estate Mount Juliet  after his wife   Lady Juliana Boyle.

The Honourable Peirce  Butler Cooper held the office of Member of Parlaiment (MP)

He married Catherine Rothe daughter of Richard Rothe  and died without issue.
