Thomas (Tom) Condon of this memorial, was born on the 05-04-1892 in Kilfinane, Co. Limerick, the fifth child of thirteen children born to Paul Condon (1860-1911), a tailor & his wife Elizabeth Dunne (1864 - ). Tom was working as a farm labourer in Templebredon parish, Co. Limerick when he met his wife Mary Kate Dundon (1887-1964), daughter of Patrick Dundon (1859-1941), a stone mason & his wife Julia Mulvihill (1855-1938)
Tom Condon (1892-1972) & Mary Kate Dundon (1887-1964) were married on the 01-04-1924 in Tipperary Town RC. They had three children, all born in Knockalegan,Templebredon.
1. Elizabeth (Lizzie) Condon (1925-2008). She married John Hourigan (1918-2009), son of Dan Hourigan (1871-1945) & his wife Margaret McKenna (1875-1958) of Newtown, Caherconlish, Co. Limerick on the 31-08-1949 in Templebredon RC, Co. Limerick. John Hourigan (1918-2009) and his wife Lizzie, nee Condon (1925-2008) are both interred in Inch St Laurence cemetery, near Caherconlish, Co. Limerick.
2. Paul Condon (1928-2003). He married Catherine (Kitty) Hynes (1927-2013) daughter of Martin Hynes (1894-1947) & his wife Margaret Spelman (1897 - ) of Nogra, Kinvarra, Co. Galway on the 07-02-1959 in Quex Rd RC, Kilburn, London.. Both Paul & his wife Kitty are interred in Mount St Oliver cemetery in Limerick City.
3. Julia Condon (1930-1999). She married Larry Creamer (1928-2000), son of Patrick Creamer (1896-1980) & his wife Margaret Ryan (1899-1986) of Ballyvistea, Emly, Co. Tipperary on the 17-07-1956 in St Mary Magdalen RC, Willesden Green, London. Both Julia and her husband Larry are interred in Emly's old cemetery, Co. Tipperary at memorial TS-EMOG-0136 on the historicgraves website.
Mary Kate Dundon (1887-1964), wife of Thomas Condon (1892-1972) of this memorial is interred in Templebredon cemetery, Co. Limerick with her father Patrick. her sister Margaret & nephew Michael Dundon. Mary Kate's mother Julia, nee Mulvihill (1855-1938) is interred in Emly's old cemetery, Co. Tipperary at memorial TS-EMOG-0137 on the historicgraves website.

Wife was Mary C Hoare (1879-1954) a native of Spittle, Ballylanders, Co. Limerick. Jack & his wife were interred in Calvary cemetery in Waterbury.They had six children, all born in Waterbury, Elizabeth (Betty) 1911-1997, Edmond 1912-1979, Paul 1914-1969, Mary Agnes (Maureen) 1916-1935, John P 1919-1984 & Rosemary 1922-2006.
Marla Metzger Robold of Tucson, AZ, USA, visited Kilfinane on the 16th May 2019. She was the first descendant of her great grandfather John (Jack) Condon (1886-1951) to visit his place of origin. Marla's mother was Maureen Metzger, nee Wells (1936-2016), a daughter of Elizabeth (Betty) Condon (1911-1997) & Samuel Hadden Wells (1909-1970)
2. Johanna (Hannah) Condon (1888-1966), Named after her paternal grandmother Johanna McSweeney. She married Maurice Cleary (1874-1924), son of Denis Cleary (1833-1923) & Julia Hayes (1832-1922) of Ballygeagoge, Kilfinane on the 30-04-1913 in Kilfinane RC. They had five children, Denis 1914 , Elizabeth 1915-2010, Julia 1916-1998, Johanna 1919-2005 & Mary 1920-1997. Hannah remarried to Michael (Bounce) Ryan on the 17-03-1927 in Kilfinane RC and was interred in St. Brigids cemetery in Buttevant, Co. Cork.
3. Denis Condon (1889-1950). Named after his maternal grandfather Denis Dunne. He emigrated to the UK and joined the British army. Married Nellie Horgan (1889-1939), a native of Co. Cork in 1917 in Rugby, Warwickshire, UK. They had no family. Both died in Rugby.
4. Elizabeth Condon (1890-1904). Named after her maternal grandmother Elizabeth Creed. She died of typhoid fever.
5. Mary Condon (1893-1894). Death at 16 months old was due to marasmus.
6. Mary Condon (1898-1919). Death at 20 years old due to the Great Flu epedemic.
7. Bridget Condon (1902-1903). Death at 8 months old due to convulsions.
8. Catherine (Kitty) Condon (1903-1948). Eloped and married Charles (Charlie) Downes (1899-1990), son of Michael Downes (1868-1943) & Henrietta O'Dea (1873-1916) of Kilfinane, Co. Limerick on the 07-08-1929 in St Munchins RC, Limerick City. Charlie Downes was a plasterer by trade. He and his wife Kitty lived at 9 Gibbons Tce, Balbriggan, Co. Dublin. They had four children, John Downes 1930-1948. Charles 1931-1996, Elizabeth (Betty) 1933-2019 & Nuala P 1941-2017.
John Downes (1930-1948) died as a result of a construction accident. His mother Kitty's death at 44 years old was due to meningitis from bowel toxaemia. They and Charlie (1899-1990) were interred in St Peter & Pauls cemetery, Naul Rd, Balbriggan, Co. Dublin.
