The graveyard is in rural area within cornfield.
Graveyard marked on 1841 OS map as 'Kilmaleed Graveyard' and on 1913 OS map as 'Kilmaleed Graveyard (Disused).
Graveyard is sub-rectangular shaped mound; approx. 2m higher than surrounding field; no visible gravemarkers; accessed across field, through field gate at local road; entirely overgrown with grass, brambles and weeds; uneven surface with several concealed holes; trace of possible boundary ditch to the southwest.
