The graveyard is situated on the summit of an E-W ridge. It is rectangular in plan measuring c. 35m E-W by c. 20m N-S. It is defined by masonry walls, which has been extended to the E. The site of the parish church of Killynagh (RO022-067001-) is located in the interior of the graveyard.
