The graveyard is located on an E-facing slope. It measures c. 60m N-S; c. 50m E-W). It is enclosed by a stone wall and bounded to the E by a road. Some uninscribed grave markers but most burials marked by 19th-century inscribed headstones; still in use. No visible remains of Kilcorney parish church except for one block of limestone (0.7m x 0.5m x 0.2m) (CO039-035003-) which formed head of double ogee-headed window light, late-medieval in date. This has been re-used as a gravemarker. Immediately across road to E is arc of bank which may be the remains of an early ecclesiastical enclosure (CO039-035002).
