Dunshaughlin COI

As part of the Co. Meath Graveyard Project an inventory was taken of the St Seachnaill’s Church of Ireland graveyard in Dunshaughlin, Co. Meath. The project was initiated by the Dunshaughlin Tidy Towns Group (DTTG) in conjunction with Dunshaughlin Historical Society. Volunteers created manual records of each grave to a predefined format supplied by Meath Co. Council. In some cases this involved the use of deciphering techniques as many of the graves date from the 18th century with the oldest stone dating from 1696.
Electronic data entry was recently undertaken by a member of the DTTG.
