Coolcashin

This historic graveyard is located within one of the best preserved archaeological sites (KK-009-10) in the country. The earthworks of an Anglo-Norman village are apparent in the field around the graveyard. A ruined church within has left numerous pieces of worked stone some of which appear to have been used as grave markers. An historic well provides water tot eh west of the stone wall enclosed graveyard.
