Bridget Butler 1865-1915, daughter of Michael Butler 1827-1917 & Mary ,( nee ) Humphries 1842-1927 of Shronell, Co. Tipperary, married Thomas Ryan, son of Patrick Ryan & Anne Bourke of Coolnadown, Templebredon, Co. Limerick  on the 19th Feb 1901 in Lattin RC, Co. Tipperary.They had no family.

Bridget’s  brother Thomas Butler 1867-1961 married  Mary O’Neill 1876-1918, daughter of Jeremiah O’Neill 1851-1910  & Margaret Quinlan 1851-1928 of Ballinglanna, Shronell, Co. Tipperary on the 17th Oct 1907 in Lattin RC, Co. Tipperary.

 Children born to them in Shronell  included Mary Frances Butler 1908-1942, Michael  Albert 1910-1974, Jeremiah Martin 1911, Margaret Mary 1912, twins John Joseph & Bridget Mary 1914, William 1917 & Thomas Joseph 1918.

Their mother Mary died on Oct 23rd 1918 of the Great Flu epedemic  five days after the birth of her son Thomas Joseph.

Mary Frances Butler 1908-1942 married James Henebry, son of James Henebry of Ballynahinch, Emlygrennan, Co. Limerick on Aug 23rd 1939 in Limerick City Cathedral.

Her brother Michael Albert Butler  1910-1974 married  Ellen ( Eileen ) Hanly 1923-1951, daughter of  Timothy Hanly & Bridget Gavin of Ballyryan, Sologhead, Co Tipperary on Feb 12th 1945 in Sologhead RC. Eileen’s cause of death at 28 years old was due to preeclampsia during pregnancy.
