Thomas  O’Dwyer ( 1915-1972 )  recorded  here, was  the  son  of  James O’Dwyer (1872-1946)  &  Anne Hackett, who were married in Emly RC, Co. Tipperary on the 3rd Sep 1906. His siblings included  Catherine (Kate) O' Dwyer 1906, Mary 1907, John 1909, James 1911-1965, Margaret 1912, Timothy 1914-1915.

James O'Dwyer 1911-1965, married Bridget Ellis 1912-1960, daughter of Michael Ellis 1858-1936 & Margaret Mason 1873-1954 of Killeennagallive, Templebredon parish, Co. Limerick on the 6th Sep 1931 in Templebredon RC.

Thomas  O’Dwyer  (1915-1972)  married  Anne  Scully  (1909 -    )  on the 28-04-1940  in Galbally. RC, Co. Limerick. Anne  Scully was the daughter of Denis Scully & Mary Slattery of  Lissard,  Galbally,   Co.  Limerick..

 Children  of  Thomas  O’Dwyer   (1915-1972) &  Anne  Scully  (1909 -   ) included  James (Jimmy), Mary 1942-2019, Denis (Dinny) 1944-2010, Anne 1945-1945, Christina 1947-1947 & Thomas (Tommy) 1949-2022 .

 Joan O’ Dwyer (nee  Meade)  1945-1999, wife of  Denis (Dinny) O'Dwyer 1944-2010, was a daughter of  William Meade & Mary Bagnell  of  Elton / Knocklong , Co. Limerick who were married in Knockainy RC, Co. Limerick on the 23-07-1941.

Mary O'Dwyer 1942-2019, married  William (Billy) Meade 1941-2009, a brother of Joan 1945-1999. Mary's obituary reads as follows :

The death has occurred of Mary Meade (née O'Dwyer) of Lissard, Galbally, Limerick on the  7/11/2019. Mary, predeceased by her husband Billy ,her sisters Chrissie & Annie, brother Dinny & grandchild Billy. Deeply regretted by her loving family, sons Anthony (Ballyduff, Ballylanders), William & Paul (Galbally), daughter Christina (Chris Fahey, Galbally), brothers Jimmy (Castleblaney), Tommy (Lattin), son-in-law Gerard, daughters-in-law Honor, Carol & Sinéad, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren Killian, Shelley, Aisling, Ciara, Megan, Molly, Lee, Lucy, Leah & Shannon, special family friends Maggie, Donie, Eoin, Cathal, Pam, Mary O'Dea, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours & friends.

Reposing at her residence on Sunday 10th Nov from 3pm to 7pm. Funeral arriving at Galbally Church on Monday  for 11.30 am Mass followed by cremation at Shannon Crematorium.

Her brother,Thomas (Tommy)  Dwyer 1919-2022 died on the 15-01-2022. His obituary reads as folows The death has occurred of Thomas (Tommy) O'Dwyer at Deerpark Nursing Home, Lattin, Co. Tipperary

Tommy Dwyer, formerly of Spittle, Ballylanders, Co. Limerick on the 15th January 2022. Predeceased by his parents Tom & Annie, brother Dinny, sister Mary (Meade), brother-in-law William (Meade) & sister-in-law Joan (Meade). Deeply regretted by his brother Jimmy, sister-in-law Theresa, nephews Anthony, William & Paul Meade, Luke & Rory O'Dwyer, nieces Chris (Fahey, Galbally), Alison (O'Dwyer), grand-nephews, grand-nieces, daughter Rose-Marie Hughes, son-in-law Garry, grandchildren, extended family, relatives, neighbours and many friends

Reposing at Fraser's Funeral Home, Galbally, Co. Limerick E34 AE22 on Sunday evening from 6pm to 7pm. Tommy's funeral cortège will leave Fraser's Funeral Home, on Monday morning 17th Jan  for 11.30am Mass in Galbally Church.  Burial afterwards in Ballylanders cemetery.
