It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth (Betty) Murphy (née O'Connell), late of Wood Green, London, and formerly of Duncummin, Emly, Co. Tipperary, who passed away peacefully on 22nd October, 2025, in the wonderful care of the North Middlesex Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
A caring loving mum to Mary, Ann and Stella. Sadly, missed by her loving family, her sons-in-law Ciarán, Martin and Alan, nine grandchildren affectionately known as her little heroes, great-grandchildren, brother Martin, nieces and nephews and all who knew her.
Predeceased by her husband John Murphy (senior), sons Martin and John, brothers Tom and Donal, sisters Maisie, Ann, Babs and Breda. We take comfort in knowing that she is reunited once again with her sons, John and Martin. Our Mum's strength will always be a guiding light in our lives.
