Interred   in  this  plot  also   are   Elaine  Pryce ,  nee   Duhig   1946-2012,  Jobie’s   daughter   and   Dorothy   E   ( Dobby )   Duhig ,  nee   Dent ,  Jobie’s   wife.

Joseph  (Jobie)  1914-1992.  Son  of   Thomas   Duhig   (1866-1947)  &  Winifred   Fitzgerald.  A  half-twin  of   Robert  Duhig  1914-1983. 

Jobie  Duhig   emigrated  to  the  UK  and  married   Dorothy   E   (Dobby)  Dent   there  in  1941. Children  born  were  Elaine  G  Duhig 1946-2012  and  Sandra  A   1954.

Elaine  G  Duhig  1946-2012  married  Martin  Pryce .  Had  a  son   Joe  Pryce,  who  is  a  presenter   on  Tipp  Mid-West  radio.  Elaine G  Pryce, nee  Duhig ,  died  in  Galbally ,  Co.  Limerick  on  the  16-09-2012  and  was  interred   in  her   father  Jobie’s   burial  plot  in  the  old  cemetery  in  Emly  on  Wednesday  19-09-2012. 

Her  mother ,  Dorothy  E  ( Dobby )  Duhig ,  nee  Dent ,  died  in  Galbally ,  Co.   Limerick  on   the  03-05-2014  and  was  also  interred  in  this  plot  in  Emly  on   Tuesday   06-05-2014.

Dorothy’s  daughter , Sandra   A   Duhig ,  born  1954,  married   Michael  A  Johns  in  1973  in  Surrey  UK.   Children  born  were   Leo  1987  and  Sam  1989.

This memorial was replaced at a later date and the inscription on the replacement one reads as follows,
