James   Clancy  (1812-1897),  married   Winifred  O’Brien  (1838-1898),  daughter   of  Denis  O’Brien   &   Margaret   Hayes   of   Duntryleague,   Galbally ,  Co.  Limerick  in   Galbally  RC   on  the  13-02-1866.

Bridget   Clancy  (1872 -1936 ) ,  daughter   of   James   Clancy  (1812-1897)  &   Winifred  O’Brien  (1838-1898)  of   Lackelly ,  married    Denis   Richardson  (1850 -1934 ),  son   of   Thomas   Richardson   &   Margaret   Staunton   of   Galbally ,   Co.   Limerick   in   Emly   RC   on  the   22-02-1898.   Denis  Richardson  was baptised  in  Galbally  RC  on the 27-11-1850

Children  born  to  Denis  Richardson  and  Bridget  Clancy  were   Margaret   Richardson   1899,   Thomas   1900,   James   1901,  Winifred   1902-1907,   Mary   1904,  Denis   1905-1968   &   Maurice   1908-1973.

Thomas Richardson (1900 -   ),  son of  Denis Richardson  &  Bridget Clancy , married  Catherine  Bailey ( 1914 -  ), daughter of  Charles  Bailey  &  Hannah  Daly of  Spittle, Ballylanders on the 14-06-1939 in Ballylanders RC.

Their daughter  Bridget  ( Breeda ) Richardson  (1944 - 2017), married   Richard  ( Richie ) Keane  and  they resided in Garnalina, Galbally, Co. Limerick.

Breeda  Keane , nee Richardson,  died  on the 25-02-2017 and was interred in Galbally cemetery. Her obituary reads as follows :

The death has occurred of Breeda Keane ( née ) Richardson of Garnalina, Co. Galbally, Limerick on the.25/2/2017. Breeda, deeply regretted by her loving husband Richie, sons Pat (Bridgetown, Co. Clare), and Eric, daughters Kathleen (Walsh, Birdhill), Vera (Howard, Rathcormac), Yvonne (Crowe, Burgess, Nenagh), brothers Dinny (Galbally), Charlie (Emly), sister Philomena (Martin, Killmallock), sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, sisters-in law, brother-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

 Reposing at Fraser's Funeral  Home, Galbally, Co. Limerick on Monday evening 27th Feb from 6pm to 8pm. Remains arriving at Galbally Church at 8.45pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in Galbally Cemetery.

Breeda's brother Denis ( Dinny ) Richardson  1940-2024, died in his 84th year on the 29th May 2024 and was interred in Galbally cemetery, Co. Limerick on Sat 1st Jun 2024. His obituary reads as follows

Denis ( Dinny )  Richardson of St Johnstown, Fethard, Co.Tipperary  and formerly of  Garnalina, Galbally, Co. Limerick, peacefully, after a long illness, in the excellent care of St. Teresa Community Hospital, Clogheen, Co. Tipperary. Predeceased by his wife Mary ( née ) Dillon , sister Breeda Keane, brother-in-law Ben Martin, his nephews Eric Keane and Karl Richardson.

Deeply regretted by his loving and devoted wife Mary ( nee ) Brophy, daughter Marie, son Tom and stepson Aidan. Sadly missed by his loving family. Tom's partner Bernie, Aidan's partner Heather, step-grandchildren Fia and Ella, sister Philly ( Martin ), Kilmallock) brother Charlie, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, and large circle of neighbours and friends, and his many dancing friends in Fethard Ballroom.

Rosary will take place on Thursday May 30th, at his residence St Johnstown, Fethard, Co Tipperary, at 7pm for close friends and family. Lying in repose at Fraser's Funeral Home Galbally, Co Limerick on Friday, May 31st from 6 to 8pm followed by evening prayers. Reception in to Christ the King Church, Galbally, Co. Limerick on Saturday, June 1st, for Requiem Mass at 11.30am  with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.
