 John   McEniry  1867-1946 ,  son  of   Timothy   McEniry  &  Anne  Collins , married   Ann  ( AnnieHanly  1868 – 1931 , daughter  of  William  Hanly   &   Bridget   Cussen   in   Emly   RC  on  the  18-08-1890.  Their   youngest   child  was   John   McEniry   1912-1993.

The  older  McEniry   children  born  included   Bridget  1891,  Timothy  1893-1953,  Anne  1896,  William  1898-1899,  Mary  1900-1918,  Thomas  1902,  Michael  1905-1970,  Kate  1907  &  Johanna  1910-1910.

John McEniry (1912-1993) married Christina ( Dinah) Connery (1920-2015) , daughter of James Connery & Hanora Hogan of Newtown, Clonbeg, Aherlow, Co. Tipperary in Galbally RC on the 09-10-1941.

Dinah McEniry (1920-2015) died on the 02-10-2015 and was interred here on Sunday 04-10-2015. Her son Jim McEniry is the  Emly cemetery caretaker and gravedigger.

Dinah's brother, James Connery 1924-2024 was just weeks short of his 100th birthday when he died on Sep 26th 2024. His obituary reads as follows :

The death has occured of James Connery of Newtown, Aherlow, Co. Tipperary. James passed away peacefully on September 26th 2024, in his 99th year, in the tender care of the staff of Cluain Árann Nursing Home, Tipperary Town.

 Pre-deceased by his parents James and Hanorah, his sisters Mary, Bridget ( Sissy ), Elizabeth, Christina  ( Dinah ) and Hanorah, brothers William, Michael and Stephen. Sadly missed by his grandnephew Richard, and his wife Mary Donoghue, nephews, nieces - especially Maisie and Delia, grandnephews, grandnieces, extended family, many kind neighbours, friends, and his carers.

 Lying in repose in the Chapel of Peace, Fraser's Funeral Home, Galbally, Co Limerick  on Saturday, September 28th from 6 to 8 pm followed by evening prayers. Reception on Sunday, September 29th into Church of the Sacred Heart, Lisvernane for Mass at 1 pm after which James will be laid to rest in the Church grounds.
