Patrick   Norris  (1829-1914) ,  a  shoemaker,  born   Duncummin ,  Emly,  to  parents   Thomas   Norris  &  Bridget   Murnane ,  married   Johanna   Spelman  (1846-1930),  daughter   of   Michael   Spelman   &  Mary   Higgins  of   Kilteely ,  Co.  Limerick   in   Emly  RC   on  the  31-01-1871.

Children  born  to  Patrick  (1829-1914)  &  Johanna   Norris, nee Spelman  (1846-1930)  were   Bridget  Norris  1872,  Jeremiah  1874,  Mary  1876-1878,  Mary  1879,  Anne  1881,  twins   Michael  1884-1973,  Ailbe  1884-1976   &   Johanna   1890.  Some  of  these  emigrated  to  the USA.

Ailbe  Norris  (1884-1976)  married   Bridget  Ryan  ( 1887-1971)  in   Emly  RC on  the 16-01-1910. 

Children  included   Johanna  (Josie) Norris  1910,  Patrick  1911, Mary 1913 &  Thomas  1915. The  family  were  living  in  Ballynaveen,  Emly   in  the  1911  census and  were  living  in Carron, Tipperary when their daughter  Mary was born in 1913.

Their  son, Ailbe  Norris  was  born on the  11-07-1930  and emigrated  to the UK  where  he  met and  married   Christina  Allen in Birmingham in 1953. Their  children  were  Christopher  Norris  1958,  Ann  M  1958,  Kevin  A  1960  &  Peter  Andrew 1966. 

Ailbe  Norris  died  in  Birmingam  on the  05-04-2016  and  was  interred  in  Kings  Norton  cemetery.

NB.  Mary  Norris,  born  1879,  daughter  of  Patrick Norris  &  Johanna  Spelman,  married  Thomas  Gleeson ,  son of  Matthew  &  Johanna   Gleeson,  of   Carrickettle , Kilteely ,  Co. Limerick .  Thomas  &  Mary   lived  in Ballinlough,  Kilteely.  

Their  children  included  Mary  Gleeson.  Bridget ,  Patrick,  John  &  Matthew .
