NB.  A  kerb was  erected  at  both  sides  of  this  memorial   since  it  was  photographed  during  the  cemetery survey  in  2015

NB.  This  family  were  not  living  in  Emly  parish  in  the  1911 census.  They  were  natives  of  Killeen,  Kilfinane,   Co.   Limerick.

John   Meade  (1847-1923) ,  was  born  in  Killeen  in   to  parents   James  Meade  &  Bridget  Hayes. John  married  Bridget  Clancy  (1848 - 1929 ),  daughter   of   James  Clancy   &   Johanna  Dwyer   of   Knockarron   in  Knocklong  RC   on  the  08-02-1882. 

Children  born  to  John  Meade  &  Bridget  Clancy  at  Killeen  were   James  Meade 1883-1968,  Mary  1884-1963,  Timothy  1885-1959,  Michael  1886  &  John  1889-1959.

Mary Meade (1884-1963) married  Edmond O'Mahony , a farmer of  Kilpeacon, Co. Limerick , in St. Joseph's RC , Limerick City on the 16-02-1926.

Feargal  Meade (1972- 2017) , of Dooradoyle, Limerick , a  grandson of James Meade (1883-1968) , and a son of  Timothy  (Tadhg)  & Ide  Meade of Askeaton, Co. Limerick , died on the 09-09-2017.  He was survived by his immediate family , parents Tadhg & Ide  Meade , brother  Evan  & sister Clara.

Feargal  was interred in Emly's new cemetery on Thursday 14-09-2017.
