NB. The  small  iron  cross  marking  the  location  of  this  grave  is  in  a  poor  condition and  is practically rusted away .

A small headstone was later erected in front of this coss with the following inscription.

John  Ailbe  Rea  died on the 31-12-1931. He married  Margaret Ryan on the 11-10-1896 in Athlacca RC, County Limerick.  Their children included  Mary 1897, Thomas 1898, John 1901,  Catherine 1904,  Margaret 1906, twins  Edmond 1910 & Patrick 1910 -1988, Cornelius 1911, Daniel 1913, twins Christina 1916 & Stephen 1916-1917.

Margaret Rea, nee Ryan died on the 31-01-1962 in Fanstown. Her age at the time of her death was recorded as being 87 years.
