NB. The Thomas  Quane  who had  the  stone  erected  and  the Thomas  who died  in  1959  are  the  same  person.

Thomas   Quane  (1874-1959),  son  of   Patrick  Quane (1831-1910)  &  Johanna   Higgins  (1835- ) of  Ballinvrina,  Emly,   married   Margaret  O’Callaghan  (1882-1963),  daughter  of   Michael   O’Callaghan   &   Bridget   Walsh   of   Ballynalacken,   Glenbrohane,   Co.  Limerick,  in   Glenbrohane    RC   on   the  20-2-1912.   

Patrick  (Paddy)   Quane   (1914-1997)  was  their  son.  His  siblings, who  survived  infancy ,  were   Johanna   1913,  &  Michael   Ailbe   1917.

Patrick  Quane  (1831-1910),  son   of   Thomas   Quane   &   Mary   Walsh ,  married   Joanna   Higgins  (1835- ),  daughter   of   Michael   Higgins   &   Bridget   Ryan  of   Ballinvrina ,  in   Emly   RC   on  the  23-2-1868. 

Children  born  to  them   were   Bridget  Quane  1870,  Thomas  (1874-1959),  Michael   1875  &  Joanna   1877.
