John Joseph Carroll (1864-1939), born Dromkeen, Co. Limerick on the 06-3-1864, to parents William Carroll (1834-1873) & Honora Daly (1844-1888), who were married in Emly RC on the 16-2-1863.
William S Carroll (1868-1919), a brother of John Joseph Carroll.
John Joseph Carroll (1864-1939), married Mary Ann O’Brien (1860-1941), daughter of Patrick O’Brien & Eliza Daly of Bartoose, Emly, on the 26-2-1889 in Emly RC.
Their children were William S Carroll (1890-1892), Patrick J (1893-1920), John Jerome ( 1894-1923), Elizabeth M 1897 & Hanora T 1899.
This family were living in Garrynacahera, Kilteely parish in the 1901 and 1911 Censuses.
In 1901, John Joseph Carroll’s occupation was recorded as a farmer and creamery manager.
