 Parents  of  Michael   McGrath  (1868-1951)   were  Timothy  (Thady)  McGrath  and  Anne  Bourke ,  who  were  married  in  Emly  RC  on  the 13-02-1858. 

Michael  married   Delia  (Bridget)    English   in   St.  Saviours   RC ,   Limerick   on  the  12-02-1906.   Their  son  Timothy   McGrath  (1912-1995)  was  born  in  Monemore,  Emly  on  the  14-04-1912.

Bridget   English  (1882-1940) , also  known  as  Delia,  was  born  in  Sunglen,  Pallasgrean,  Co.  Limerick  on  the  16-02-1882 ,  to  parents   Patrick  English   &   Ellen   Blackburn.

Eileen  (Nellie)  McGrath,  nee  Gleeson  (1920-2016),  widow  of   Timothy   McGrath (1912-1995)  died  on  Sunday  08-05-2016  and  was  interred  here  on Tuesday 10-05-2016.

At  the  time  of  her  death,  Nellie  was survived by  sons  Noel, John  &  Tim  and  by  daughters  Delia,  Geraldine  &  Mary.

Nellie  McGrath’s  parents  were  Jack  Gleeson  &  Delia  Conway  of  Ballytarsna,  Pallasgrean  parish,  Co. Limerick.

Kathleen McGrath, nee McCann (1965-2021), daughter of  Patrick McCann & Bridget Olive Marry of Stirue, Dunleer, Co. Louth and daughter-in-law of Timothy McGrath (1912-1995) of this memorial, died on the 16-01-2021 at Clashdrumsmith, Emly, Co. Tipperary and was interred in Emly's new cemetery on Monday 18-01-2021. At the time of her death, Kathleen was survived by her immediate family of husband Tim McGrath, by her sons Robert & David McGrath and by her siblings  John McCann & Bridget Reid. Kathleen's funeral took place during Covid-19 restrictions.
