Patrick Fitzgerald who had this memorial erected died on the 15-11-1906. His wife Bridget was a daughter of Denis O'Donnell of Kilcornan, Cullen parish, Co. Tipperary. They were married on the 24-02-1868 in Cullen RC. Their children included Maurice Fitzgerald (1870-1872), Ellen 1872 & Mary Anne (1875-1940).

Mary Anne Fitzgerald (1875-1940) married Cornelius  Ryan (1876-1959), son of Patrick Ryan & Bridget Hayes of Bunavie, Pallasgrean parish, Co. Limerick in Emly RC on the 24-02-1903. Their children included Patrick Martin Ryan (1908-1978) & Cornelius Joseph Ryan (1910-1959).

Cornelius J (Connie) Ryan of Ballycurrane, Emly, son of Patrick Martin Ryan (1908-1978) & husband of  Mary Ryan, nee Daly (1939-2003) recorded at memorial 0169 on a plaque, died on the 10-04-2020 and was interred at this memorial 0493 on Easter Sunday 12-04-2020.

He was the first person buried in this cemetery since the Covid-19 lockdown began in Ireland on Saturday 28-03-2020 when due to government restrictions funeral gatherings were limited to ten family members only.
