Catherine   Ryan ,  nee   Archer  (1909-1966) was  born   Cromhill ,  Kilteely  parish,  Co.  Limerick  on  the  21-9-1909,  to  parents   Thomas   Archer   and   Johanna   Keane.

Malachy   Ryan  (1901-1973)  was  born  in  Knockballymaloogh ,  Lattin  parish ,  Co.  Tipperary  on  the   18-2-1901,  to  parents   Michael   Ryan  &   Kate  O’Donnell.  

His  siblings  were   Timothy  1899,   Mary  Margaret   1905,  Patrick  1907,  James  1910  &   Margaret   1916.  The  family  were  living  in   Kilross ,   Lattin   parish   in  the  1911  Census.

Kate  O’Donnell   was  born  in  Kilross  on  the  10-1-1877,  to  parents   Thomas  O’Donnell   &   Margaret   Slattery.  

Her  husband ,  Michael  Ryan,  was  born  in  Knockballymaloogh  on  the 03-11-1878,  to  parents   Timothy   Ryan   &  Mary   Fahey,   who  were  married  on  the  14-11-1870  in   Galbally  RC   Co.  Limerick.  

Mary  Fahey  was  born  in  1848, her  father  was   Edmond   Fahey.  

Timothy  Ryan  was  born  circa  1838,  his  father  was  Malachy   Ryan

Archer  family  details :

Michael   Archer   was  born  on  the  25-11-1914  in  Duncummin ,  Emly  to  parents   Thomas  Archer  (1868-1950)   &   Johanna   Keane  (1879 - 1925),  who  were  married  in   Hospital  RC,  Co.  Limerick   on  the  06-9-1908.  

Siblings  of   Michael  Archer  were  Catherine  (Katie),  born   Cromhill,  Kilteely   parish,  Co.  Limerick  on  the  21-9-1909.   Others ,  born  in  Duncummin,  were   Matthew  1910,   Margaret  1912-1912,  Thomas  1913,  William  1915,  Johanna   1918   and  Margaret  1920.

Catherine  ( Katie )  Archer  (1909-1966)  married  Malachy  Ryan  ( 1901-1973 ) at St.Ailbe's  RC, Emly, Co. Tipperary on the 07-10-1931.  On the marriage cert ,Malachy's profession was recorded as a musician and  his place of residence at the time as Kilross,

Thomas   Archer  (1868-1950), was  born  Dec  1868  in  Killeenagallive,  Templebredon   parish,  Co.   Limerick  to  parents   Matthew   Archer  (1836-1909)   &  Catherine  O’Dwyer  (1841-1871).  His  brother   Matthew   Archer   was  born   Mar  1871,  also  in  Killeenagallive.  Their  mother , Catherine ,  died  17-7-1871.

Johanna   Keane  was  born  in  Herbertstown,   Co.   Limerick   on  the  11-10-1879,  to   parents   Michael   Keane   &   Margaret   O’Brien.   Johanna   had  a  daughter ,  Mary  (Mollie)  Keane,   who  was  born  on  the  20-11-1905  in  Tipperary.
