In Griffiths Valuation circa 1851, James Boran was renting a house & garden in Moanmore, Emly from the Rev. Robert Armstrong, which incorporated an area of two roods & seven perches for which he paid a total annual rent of one pound.
In Griffiths Valuation circa 1851, Margaret Boran was renting a house in Moanmore, Emly from Cornelius Mara for which she paid a total annual rent of five shillings.
The only Boran death recorded in the Tipperary district was that of a Mary Boran, aged 50 in 1865..
There was no Boran family recorded in the 1901 census for Emly parish.
