Mary Kennedy (nee) Hartnett 1898-1943, daughter of William Hartnett (1862-1920) & Ellen Healy (1858 -    ) of Monemore, Emly. Her father, a widower at the time, was killed by a bullet to the chest when fired upon by the Black & Tans while cycling home at Keatings Cross, Emly (now Billy O'Donnell's) on the 9th August 1920. He drove the deer van for the Scarteen Hunt up to the time of his death.

Mary Hartnett (1898-1943) married Michael Kennedy (1897-1984), son of Michael Kennedy & Bridget Walsh of Ballyvoneen, Grean, Co. Limerick in Emly RC on the 29-04-1923. Also recorded at this memorial are the names of her brother John Harnett (1890-1972), her sister Nora Hartnett (1885-1971) and her daughter Bridie Kennedy.

John Hartnett (1890-1972) married Johanna McGrath (1905-1940) of Monemore ,Emly on the 02-06-1937 in Emly RC. Their son William (Billy) Hartnett was born in 1938 and died on the 20-12-2019. He was interred a grave space away directly in  front of this memorial on Saturday 21-12-2019.
