Their  son, John  Murphy  died  in  the  Cheshire  Home  at  John’s  Hill,  Waterford  on  the  10-04-2016  and  was  interred  in  this  plot  on Tuesday  12-04-2016. 

John  Murphy  was  survived  by  his  siblings  Josephine  Cleary  (Tulla),  Michael Murphy (Duncummin)  and  by  his  step-sister  Breda  Howard  (London).

John's name was added to this memorial after the  cemetery survey had been completed.

Nancy  Murphy  ( 1938-1991 )  interred  in  Emly's  new  cemetery ,  sibling  of  Patrick  Murphy  ( 1930-1997 ). The ashes of her son Dennis Murphy 1962-2014 were interred with her. Her husband Liam Murphy was also interred with her on Aug 9th 2024. His obituary reads as follows :

Liam Murphy died peacefully at St. George's Hospital, London, UK on the 17th Jul 2024.

Formerly of Knockaunavlyman, Garryspillane, Co. Limerick. Predeceased by his wife Nancy and son Dennis. Sadly missed, and lovingly remembered, by his daughter Kathleen, sons Gérard, John, and William, grand-daughters Leanna, Aisling, and Nancy, grand-son Gérard, brothers Jim, Tom, and Tadhg, sisters Eileen (Burgess) and Phyllis (O'Brien), daughters-in-law, son-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and close circle of friends. Reception into St Patrick's Church, Glenbrohane, Co. Limerick on Thursday, 8th of August, at approximately 5:30pm. Requiem Mass on Friday morning, 9th of August at 10am. Burial afterwards in Emly’s  new cemetery.

 Johnny  Murphy  (1936-2015 )  interred  in  St. Columba’s  cemetery  in  Pallasgrean,  Co. Limerick  on Thursday  15-01-2015,  was  also  a  sibling. His obituary reads as follows :

Death of John ( Johnny ) Murphy , 9 Cannon Lee Park, Pallasgreen,Co. Limerick & late of Emly Co Tipperary on the 12th January 2015. Peacefully at University Hospital Limerick.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Nellie, son Timmy, daughters Mary & Margaret, sons in law, daughter in law, brother's in Law, sister's in law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives & friends. Reposing at his daughters home  in Moymore, Pallasgreen on this Wednesday evening from 6pm  to 8pm .Removal Thursday morning to Nicker Church for 11.30 Mass.Burial afterwards in St Columba's cemetery.
