Ballyvistea, Emly.

 NB.  Thomas  O’Brien  (1862-1945), was  the  son  of  Michael  O Brien  ( 1833-1868) &  Johanna  Ryan  (1838 -1924)   He  was  only  five  years  old  when  his  father,  aged  35,  died  of  stomach  cancer  on  the  17-05-1868  and  on  the  12-07-1868,  his  brother  Michael  who  was  only  a  week  old,  died  of  croup.  

Other  siblings  of  Thomas O’Brien  were  Denis  (1863-1864),  Margaret  (1865-1938)  &  Matthew  1866.

On  the  01-03-1892,  Thomas  O’Brien (1862-1945)   married   Ellen  Ryan  (1858-   ) ,  daughter   of  James  Ryan  &  Ellen  Duggan  of   Tineterriffe,  Cappamore,   Co.  Limerick. 

Children  born  to  them  were  Michael  O’Brien  1893-1972,  Johanna  1893-1983,  Matthew  1894-1934,  James  1894-1942,  Margaret  1897,   Mary  1898-1899,  Bridget  1899  &  Patrick  1901-1971.

 

NB. A  Eugene  O’Brien  of  Caherelly,  Grange,  Co. Limerick  who  died  on the  23-01-2016  was  interred  in  this  burial  plot  on  Tuesday   26-01-2016.  He  was  survived  by  his  sister  Mary  (Sr. Clement ), a nun.
