NB.   Anna   /  Annagh ,   Galbally   parish,   Co.   Limerick.

Edmond Murphy ( abt 1828-1915) died at Annagh, Galbally on the 10th Nov 1915. His wife Hanora, nee O'Brien ( 1834-1900) predeceased him on the 22nd Aug 1900. They were married in Emly RC, Co. Tipperary on the 11th Feb 1860.

Their children, born in Annagh and recorded on this memorial were James Murphy, born 25th Dec 1877

Ellen Murphy, born Feb 1862 and died at Lackendarragh, Anglesborough, Co. Limerick 9th Sep 1942. 

Mary Anne Murphy died unmarried at Annagh 24th Aug 1948. Her age was recorded as 78. Informant of her death was her niece Mary Blackburn.

John Murphy born 1st Oct 1874 and died unmarried 10th July 1956 at the Regional Hospital, Limerick 

Ellen Murphy (1862-1942) married cattle dealer David Hennessy (1861-1913), son of Thomas Hennessy in Galbally RC, Co. Limerick on the 7th Feb 1895.

Their daughter Mary Hennessy, born  28th Mar 1899 and died 14th Nov 1963 , married John Blackburn, son of Philip Blackburn & Mary Carr  of Ballycrana, Clonbeg, Co. Tipperary on the 29th Apr 1926 in Galbally RC.

Ellen (Nellie) Blackburn, daughter  of John Blackburn & Mary Hennessy, was born 1928 and died of tuberculosis 22nd Mar 1948. Her sister Mary Blackburn was born 1929.

David  Hennessy (1901-1976), son of David Hennessy (1861-1913) & Ellen Murphy (1862-1942) married  teacher Elizabeth English (1899-1986), daughter  of carpenter Maurice English & Catherine (Kate) Condon of Glenacurrane in Anglesborough RC on the 29th Dec 1927.

Their  daughter Christina (Chrissie) Hennessy was born 1929 and died of tuberculosis on the 24th July 1945
