NB. Richard Keogh (1865-1923), a plasterer by profession, was born in Breansha, Emly on the 02-1-1865 to parents Jeremiah Keogh (1829 -1900) & Johanna Glasheen (1838-1917).
Siblings of Richard Keogh were Henry 1863, Mary 1866, Patrick 1868, John 1870, Hanoria 1872 , Jeremiah 1875, Margaret ( 1877-1962) & Timothy ( 1881-1962)
Richard Keogh (1865-1923) married Catherine (Kate) Butler (1866-1941), a teacher at Emly N.S. on the 16-2-1903 in Emly RC.
Kate Keogh, nee Butler (1866-1941) was a native of Grange, near Clonmel , Co. Tipperary.
Her husband Richard Keogh ( 1865-1923), was killed in an accident while he was working on a house at Chantersland, Emly.
Their children included Jeremiah Keogh 1904 1976, Hanora Mary (Nora ) 1906 -1946 & Johanna Mary ( Josie ) 1908 -1909.
Jeremiah Keogh 1904-1976 was ordained a priest in St Patricks College, Thurles, Co. Tipperary on the 13th June 1931 and died in Slaton, Lubbock County, Texas on the 2nd Aug 1976. His memorial is at the Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park in Woodrow, Lubbock County, Texas.
