Patrick Baker (1768-1836) married Ellen Halloran in Emly RC, Co. Tipperary on the 15-01-1811. His son James Baker (1814-1883),who with his sibling Thomas had this memorial erected, married Mary McEniry (1806-1878) in Emly RC on the 03-03-1835.

Children born to James Baker and Mary McEniry in Emly were Patrick Baker 1836-1890, Thomas 1838-1912, Margaret 1841, David 1842-1919, Ellen 1844-1918 & James 1846-1937. This branch  of the Baker family emigrated to Troy, New York in the early 1850's.

Patrick Baker 1836-1880 married Mary Ann Judge 1839-1888 in Troy NY. Their son James F Baker 1868-1904, born in Troy, NY married Mary (Mollie) Hughes 1869-1903.

A son named James Francis Baker 1888-1980 was born in Troy NY to James F Baker 1868-1904 & Mollie Hughes 1869-1903.

James Francis Baker 1888-1980 married Lillian Ruth Ash 1895-1970 on the 10-11-1922 in Troy NY. Their son James Francis Baker was born in Troy NY on the 11-03-1931. He married Carolyn Eleanor Martin (1930-1988) in Troy NY on the 12-10-1957 and died in Troy NY on the 09-09-2011. He was interred in Oakwood cemetery in Troy.  In 1980, he visited  Emly, Co. Tipperary, the burial place  of his great - great- great grandfather Patrick Baker 1768-1836  and the birthplace of his great- great grandfather  James Baker 1814-1883 who had emigrated with his family to Troy NY in the early 1850's.
