NB. The people buried here are descendants of farmer David McEniry (1845-1920) & his wife Elizabeth (Eliza) Walsh (1842-1915) of Farranassa, Emly, who were married in Oola RC on the 19-02-1873. Their children were as follows :
Margaret ( Jan 1874-1892). Died of pneumonia due to influenza.

Anne (1876-1961) married Denis Cleary 1912. Mother of Tom Cleary ( 1912-1997) of Chantersland, Emly.
John , born 8-12-1877. Died 02-5-1951. Married Anne (Annie) Fitzpatrick 1890-1969, daughter of James Fitzpatrick & Margaret Quillinan of Lackelly, Knocklong parish in Emly RC on the 06-02-1918. Their son, William (Willie) McEniry (1927-2013) was a publican in Emly village and their daughter Teresa Cunningam nee McEniry (1931-2018) , was the sub-postmistres in the premises adjacent to her brother’s pub for many years.
Teresa Cunningham (1931-2018) died on the 01-03-2018 and was interred on Tuesday 06-03-2018 in Emly's new cemetery with her husband James (Jimmy) Cunningham (1927-1996), a native of Ardnamoher, Galbally, Co. Limerick.
At the time of her death, Teresa Cunningham (1931-2018) was survived by her immediate family of sons Jack, Mike, Fran and daughters Julie Walsh, Emly , Ann Keating , Ballyclough, Rosbrien, Limerick, Lily O'Brien , Portroe, Nenagh, Mai Byrne, Emly & Una Ryan, Tipperary.
Mary (Minnie) 1879-1956 was a National School teacher in Emly NS and was known by the pupils as Mrs. Mac. Her husband, Pat McNamara (1878-1955), was sub-postmaster for some years in the house later owned by Pakie O’Neill before relocating to where the present post office exists. They are interred at memorial number 0409.
Thomas Paul (1883-1884), died of croop, aged 14 months.
