NB.  Patrick  Joy  married  Mary  Gilhooly  in  Emly  RC  on  the  24 - 02 - 1873. 

Children  were  Michael  1874,   Anthony  (1876-1930),  a  teacher  in  Emly N.S ,  Mary  (1877-1932),  Laurence  (1879-1962),   Catherine   1881,  Patrick  1884,   Sarah  1886,   Margaret   (1890-1907)   and   Hanora  ( Nano )   1893.

Laurence Joy (1879-1962) , married  Catherine  Dwyer, dughter of Patrick Dwyer and Mary Hackett of Lisheenkyle, Sologhead in the Three Patrons RC, Rathgar, Dublin on the 26-10-1927.

His son, Patrick  ( Pat )  Joy  (1931-2014) ,  husband  of  Pauline Joy   ( nee Ryan ) ,  at  the  time  of  his  death  in  2014,  was survived  by  his  daughter  Rena ,  sons  Sean ,  Larry  &  Michael ,  his  brother  Fr. Larry  Joy  in Tijuana ,  Mexico,  his sisters  Maura  Moloney ,  Drumcomogue , Emly ,   Cecilia  Walsh,  Ardee, Co. Louth  &   Kitty in Emly.

Pat  Joys sister , Cecilia Walsh (1934-2017) of  Moorehall , Ardee, Co. Louth died on the 20-02-2017 and at the time of her death was survived by her husband  John  Walsh, daughters Jacqueline  & Joy , sons Barry, Trim  & John,  her brother Fr. Larry  Joy and sisters  Maura  Moloney  &  Kitty.  Cecilia was interred in Balapousta cemetery Ardee on the 24-02-2017.

Pat Joys sister  Maura Moloney (1929-2017) of Drumcomogue , Emly , died  on the 02-03-2017 and at the time of her death was survived  by her sons John, Gerard ,  Pat  &  Brendan  and daughter Kara and by her brother Fr. Larry Joy and sister Kitty.  Maura was interred with her late husband Patrick Moloney at memorial number 0225 on the 04-03-2017.
