Patrick Darmody (1898-1918) was the son of Patrick Darmody (1867-1957) & Bridget Ryan (1867-1935) of Ballycurrane, Emly, Co. Tipperary. His parents were married in Emly RC on the 25-02-1898.  Bridget Ryan was the daughter of  James Ryan & Bridget Heffernan. Her daughter, Bridget Darmody, born 1903, married Thomas Archer on the 22-02-1933 in Emly RC.

Nicholas Darmody born 19th Feb 1908 in Ballycurrane, Emly, Co. Tipperary married Dorothy Elizabeth Bates (1912-1998)  in 1935 in Ploughley, Oxfordshire, UK. Their children included Mary Darmody (1938-2001) & Patricia Darmody 1945. Nicholas Darmody died in 1984 in Chinnor, South Oxfordshire.
