Owen Irwin, son of William Irwin, a herdsman, of Kilfrush, Hospital, Co. Limerick, married Mary Slattery, daughter of John Slattery & Mary Foley of Drumcomogue, Emly on the 1st Feb 1894 in Emly RC, Co. Tipperary.

Their daughter Katie Irwin 1897-1971, married Patrick Russell 1897-1958, son of Michael Russell & Kate Noonan of Shronell Beg, Shronell, Co. Tipperary on the 11th Jan 1939 in Emly RC.

Their son, John Irwin 1896-1971 emigrated to New York, USA in Nov 1925. He married Bridget Lehane 1900-1992 in Manhattan, New York on the 13th Jul 1927. Bridget was a daughter of David Lehane & Mary Burke of Lissarrow, Glenwilliam, Co. Waterford.

John & Bridget Irwin had a son called Eugene David , born on the 27th Feb 1928 in Manhattan  He died in New York on the 15th Nov 1990.
