Michael  Cahill, 1863-1944, son of John Cahill, married  Catherine (Kate) Burke / Moroney 1869-1934 in Galbally RC, Co. Limerick on the 7th Feb 1902. Children born to them included John (Jackie) Cahill 1903-1980, Ellen 1907, Michael 1910-1990 & Mary 1912

John  (Jackie)  Cahill  1903-1980, son of Michael  Cahill 1863-1944 & Kate Burke / Moroney (1869-1934), married  Bridget Luther 1909 -1964 , daughter of  John  Luther 1873-1910 & Mary Heelan  - 1915 of Cullane, Ballylanders, Co. Limerick  on the 3rd Aug 1935 in Ballylanders RC.

Children born to John (Jackie) Cahill 1903-1980 & Bridget Luther 1909-1964, included  Mary C Cahill 1936, John (Jackie ) 1937-2021, Ellen 1939, Michael 1940-2006, Patrick 1943-2011, Anne 1947 & Bridget 1950.

John (Jackie) Cahill 1937-2021, married  Julia P (Sheila) Dawson in London in 1960. He died on the 15th Oct 2021 and was cremated at Shannon Crematorium, Co. Clare on Sunday 17th Oct 2021. His obituary reads as follows :

The death has occurred of John (Jackie) Cahill, Marian Tce., Galbally, Limerick / Knocklong, LimerickCahill, John (Jackie ) Marian Tce., Galbally, Co. Limerick & formerly of Knockarron, Knocklong, Co. Limerick. 15th October 2021.  Predeceased by his daughter Jacqueline, brothers Michael & Patrick. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Sheila, sons John & David, daughter Fiona, son-in-law Iain, daughter-in-law Jane, grandchildren Sophie, Owen & Glen, sisters Mary, Eileen, Ann &  Breda, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours & very good friends.

Cremation will take place on Sunday at 1pm in Shannon Crematorium, Illaunmanagh, Shannon, Co. Clare. V14 PV30.
