Patrick Moloney 1886-1962, was born 28th Mar 1886 in Ballinilard, Co. Tipperary to dairyman Thomas Moloney 1844-1901, a son of William Moloney and to Johanna Keaty 1844-1933, a daughter of John Keaty of Longstone, Cullen, Co. Tipperary. Thomas Moloney married Johanna Keaty on the 26th Jul 1876 in Lattin RC, Co. Tipperary. Both their addresses at the time of their marriage were recorded as Longstone. Children born to them included William Moloney 1881, Mary 1883, Patrick 1886-1962 of this memorial & John 1888.

Thomas Moloney 1844-1901, died in Tulla, Emly on the 14th Aug 1901. His widow, Johanna, age recorded as 65, was living in Drumcomogue, Emly in the 1911 census with her two sons Patrick ( Pat ) aged 26 & John aged 24. John Moloney was born 18th Jul 1888 in Longstone, Cullen, Co. Tipperary.

Patrick Moloney 1886-1962, married Kate Connolly 1885-1926, daughter of John Connolly 1839-1893 & Bridget O’Dea 1856-1918 of Ballycahill, Hospital, Co. Limerick  on the 17th Feb 1920 in Hospital RC.

 Kate Connolly 1885-1926, was born on the 23rd Dec 1885 and died, aged 40 yrs, due to childbirth  complications on the 23rd Oct 1926. Kate’s siblings were Patrick Connolly 1884, twins Nora & Hannah 1886 and Andrew 1888.

John Moloney’s death on the 14th Ma&y 1945 was due to tuberculosis

Maura Moloney, nee Joy (1929-2017) , daughter of Laurence Joy 1879-1962 & Catherine Dwyer 1897-1977 of Monemore, Emly and widow of  Patrick Moloney (1922-1991)  of Drumcomogue , Emly, died  on the 02-03-2017 and at the time of her death was survived  by her sons John, Gerard , Pat  & Brendan  and daughter Kara and by her brother Fr. Larry Joy and sister Kitty. 

Maura Moloney was interred at this memorial on the 04-03-2017.

Laurence Joy (1879-1962), married  Catherine  Dwyer (1897-1977), dughter of Patrick Dwyer and Mary Hackett of Lisheenkyle, Sologhead, Co. Tipperary, in the Three Patrons RC, Rathgar, Dublin on the 26-10-1927.
