William Hennessy, son of farmer John Hennessy of Lisobyhane, Emly, married Catherine Ryan, daughter of farmer John Ryan of Brackile, Pallasgrean, Co. Limerick in Templebredon RC on the 11-2-1868. Children were as follows :

Bridget Hennessy, born 1868, married James O’Brien, son of farmer Patrick O’Brien of Tineteriffe, near Cappamore, Co. Limerick in Mount St. Alphonsus RC, Limerick City on the 11-2-1893.

Margaret Hennessy (1870-1910), married William O’Regan, son of farmer John O’Regan of Duncummin, Emly in Emly RC on the 8-2-1902. Died of Purperal fever, a month after the birth of her daughter, Catherine. An older daughter, also called Catherine, had died about three weeks  prior to that. Children were as follows : Patrick 1902, William 1904, Mary 1905, Bridget 1906, Catherine 1907-1910, Margaret 1908 & Catherine 1910.

Sarah Hennessy (1871-1953), married  William O’Neill of Sologhead, Co. Tipperary and  is interred at  memorial number  0275.

John Hennessy (1876-1952), married Alice Cloghessy (1877-1957), daughter of farmer William Cloghessy of Ballinvreena, Co. Limerick on the 28-2-1911 in Glenbrohane RC, Co. Limerick. Children included William Hennessy (1912-1993), who married Kitty Humphries & John Joseph  Hennessy 1915.
