 Oliver Daly, aged 75, a farmer, was paralysed from a fall and died in the County Infirmary in Limerick two weeks later.

James Daly MD, who erected this memorial to his father Oliver Daly 1807-1882 was born in Clogher, Dromin, Co. Limerick in Aug 1853. His brother John was born there in Jun 1851. Their mother was Catherine Carroll
