NB. Denis (Denny)  Dullea  was a skilled carpenter and timber wheelwright.  His shop and workplace  in Emly was where the present day Moore family reside. He lived next door to Higgin's Hotel in Emly. He was born on Jul 16th 1899 in Nedinagh East, Dunmanway, Co. Cork to parents Charles Dullea & Bridget Sullivan who were married in Drimoleague RC, Co. Cork on Feb 4th 1894. His siblings included Jeremiah Dullea 1895, Hannah 1896, John 1897, Nellie 1901, Charles 1904, Bridget 1906, Daniel 1908 & Eugene (Oweney) 1911.

Denny  Dullea 1899-1970, married  Margaret  Ryan, daughter of John Ryan (decd) on Jul 21st 1932 1932 in Knocklong RC, Co. Limerick.  The groom's address was recorded as Charleville, Co. Cork and the bride's as Ballinvreena, Co. Limerick.

The  births  of  their  three  children  were  registered  in  the  Mallow, Co. Cork  district, namely  Bridget  T Dullea  1936-2009,  Mary  1937-2016  &  Charles  M 1938. 

Mary Dullea (1937-2016) married Charlie Hayes who had a pub in Knockainey, Co. Limerick. Mary was living at Baggotstown  East, Bruff, Co.Limerick when she died on the 24-02-2016 and was predeceased by her husband Charlie, son Denny and her sister Bridie (1936-2009). She was survived by sons Charlie & Nicky, daughters Angie, Margaret & Rosie and her brother Charles.

Mary was interred in the New Church cemetery, Lough Gur, Co. Limerick on Saturday 27-02-2016.

Rosie O'Sullivan (nee) Hayes, daughter of Mary Hayes (nee) Dullea 1937-2016, died on Sept 25th 2026. Her obituary reads as follows :

Rosie O'Sullivan (née) Hayes of Baggotstown East, Bruff, Co. Limerick and formerly of Hayes's Bar, The Cross, Knockainey, Co. Limerick, passed away peacefully 25th September 2026 at U.H.L. surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Jimmy, her lovely twin Julie and parents Mary and Charlie Hayes, brother Denny, twins Cormac and Maureen. Survived by her lovely daughter Roisín, brothers Charlie and Nickey, sisters Angie and Margaret, her uncle Charles, in laws, nieces Maura, Áine, nephew Barry, cousins, family relatives kind neighbours and many friends.

Rosie will be lying in repose at St. Mary's Church Knockainey on Monday evening (28th September) from 5pm to 7pm. Requiem mass on Tuesday (29th September) at 11.30am with burial afterwards in the New Church cemetery, Lough Gur, Co. Limerick
