NB.  Colonel John Crimmin was born in 1859 at Kilballyowen, Co. Limerick. He was serving as a surgeon in the Bombay medical service, Indian Army in January 1889 in Burma and he was awarded the Victoria Cross for gallantry. He also served as the Hon. Physician to H.M. the King. He died in Wells, Somerset, UK in 1945.
