William O'Dwyer (1895-1962) was born 16-08-1895 in Meentulla, Abington, Co. Limerick to parents James O'Dwyer (1861-1933) & Sarah Mackey (1859-1928) who were married in Murroe RC, Co. Limerick on the 06-02-1894.

William O'Dwyer (1895-1962)  married  Bridget  Coffey (1899-1993), daughter of Michael Coffey & Margaret Kennedy of Knockanbaun, Castleconnell, Co. Limerick in Newport RC on the 17-02-1931.

Their son James (Jimmy) O'Dwyer (1934-1987) who married Bridget  Doyle, was living at Ballyhoulihan, Emly, Co. Tipperary at the time of his death. Their children included sons Liam & Larry O'Dwyer and daughters Mary, Bridget & Kay.

Jimmy O'Dwyer's brother William (Billy) O'Dwyer ( 1939-2020) died in Clonsilla, Dublin on the 24-09-2020. At the time of his death, he was survived by his wife Ann, sons John, Liam & Alan and daughter Sinead.

Their sister Margaret (Peggy) O'Donnell, nee O'Dwyer died on the 18-03-2021 at Ballinahinch, Knocklong, Co. Limerick. At the time of her death, Peggy was survived by her husband John O'Donnell, sons Tom & Willie, daughters Breda & Mary, brother Mike O'Dwyer & sisters Sadie & Mary.

Peggy O'Donnell, nee O'Dwyer was interred in Knocklong cemetery on Sunday 20-03-2021.

Her sister, Sadie  Davern (nee) O'Dwyer 1931-2024 died on the 1st April 2024 and was interred in Athenacey cemetery on Wed 3rd Apr 2024. Her obituary reads as follows :

Sadie Davern, (nee) O'Dwyer of Elton Post Office, Co. Limerick and fornerly of Ballyhoulihan, Emly, Co. Tipperary  passed away peacefully in her 93rd year on the1st April 2024, in the exceptional care of all at St. Anthony's Nursing Home, Pallasgreen Co. Limerick.

Predeceased by her husband Ned, brothers Jimmy, Billy & sister Peg O'Donnell

Much loved mother of Winnie, Eamon, Billy, and Breda ( O'Brien).

Sadie will be sadly missed by her loving family, son in law Paul, daughters in law Mary & Clare, sister Mary (Quaide), brother Mike (Virginia, Co. Cavan), grandsons Mark, Michael, Adam, Edmond, Cian and Scott, sisters in law, brother in law, nieces, nephews, cousins, carers and friends.

 Sadie will be reposing at Davern's Funeral Home, Hospital, Co. Limerick on this Tuesday evening (2nd April) from 5.30pm until 7pm.

Funeral cortége arriving at St. Joseph's Church Knocklong, for Requiem Mass, Wednesday (3rd April) at 12.30pm, burial afterwards in Athenacey cemetery.
