Anne O’Ryan, nee Gubbins, had a brother named William Gubbins, who was born in Knocklong in February 1813.

At the time of her death in 1842, he was serving as a priest in Grantham, Lincolnshire, UK.

Her maternal uncle, James Ryan, was a curate in Cashel, Co. Tipperary at the time of her death.
