Edmond Heffernan 1838-1909, married Catherine Kelly 1855-1924 on Nov 4th 1873 in Emly RC. Children born to them included John Heffernan 1874-1939, William 1876-1946, Margaret 1878-1949, Mary 1880-1938, Michael 1882, Edmond 1884, Thomas 1887, Catherine 1888 & Denis 1891-1950.

John Heffernan 1874-1939, married Elizabeth Sheehan 1870-1935, daughter of William Sheehan 1835-1913 & Johanna Fenton 1832-1883 of Spittal, Buttevant, Co. Cork on Jan 13th 1901 in Emly RC, Co. Tipperary. Children born to them at Lisobyhane, Emly included Edmond Heffernan 1901-1983 (of memorial 0653) William Patrick 1903-1923, Thomas 1904-1939, Catherine 1905-1953 (of memorial 0670) John 1908, Michael (Micky) 1912-1972 (of this memorial) & Johanna 1915-1916.

Michael (Micky) Heffernan 1912-1972, married Margaret Leahy 1911-1936, daughter of John Leahy 1877-1957 & Johanna Ryan 1874-1955 of Carrigkettle, Kilteely, Co. Limerick on May 31st 1934 in Emly RC. Children born to Michael & Margaret included  John Heffernan 1935-2006 (of this memorial) & Elizabeth (Lizzy) 1936-2010 (of adjacent memorial 0229. Their mother Margaret (nee) Leahy died in Lisobyhane, Emly on Nov 13th 1936 due to auricular fibrillation.

Widower Michael (Micky) Heffernan 1912-1972, remarried to Ellen O’Mahony 1910-1970,  (of this memorial) daughter of Terence O’Mahony & Mary Tynan of Boolard, Milltown, Shandrum, Co. Cork on Nov 8th 1939 in Emly RC.

Elizabeth (Lizzy) Heffernan 1936-2010 (of adjacent memorial 0029) married Pat Whelan of Garrydoolis, Templebredon, Co. Limerick. He predeceased her. Their daughter Anne Houlihan (nee) Whelan 1971-2023 is interred in Emly’s new cemetery.
