Otho Purcell and Margaret Neville were married in Mitchelstown parish, Co. Cork on the 05-02-1854. Otho's age at the time of his death was recorded as 54 years.
In the 1911 census for Monemore, Emly, Co. Tipperary, William O’Grady is recorded as a 36 year old, married coal agent. Residing with him, are his 33 year old wife of one year, Mary and his 70 year old widowed father, Matthew O’Grady.
Margaret Purcell (nee Neville) , who had this memorial erected died in Curraghgorm on the 21-04-1895. Her age at the time of her death was recorded as 81 years.
