Thomas Purcell (1817-1899) was born Monemore, Emly, Co. Tipperary in Aug 1817 to parents Philip Purcell & Anne Gubbins who were married in Emly RC on the 6th Mar 1810. Siblings of Thomas Purcell included Catherine 1825, Philip 1827 & Ailbe 1830.
Thomas Purcell ( 1817-1899) married Catherine O'Neill on the 6th Feb 1853 in Galbally RC, Co. Limerick. The bride's address was recorded as Knockaunnacurraha, Galbally. Children born to them included Ann Purcell 1853, Philip (1855-1925), James 1857, Mary 1860 & Catherine 1861-1938.
Philip Purcell (1855-1925) married Mary Harty (1865-1927), daughter of Patrick Harty & Anne O'Neill of Caherconlish, Co. Limerick in St Saviours RC, Limerick on the 26th Jan 1897. Children born to them at Highpark, Caherconlish included Thomas Purcell 1897, Patrick 1899, Catherine 1900, Anne 1902, James 1904 -1926, Mary 1905, Philip 1907 -1970 (died Jefferson, Wisconsin, USA) & Josephine 1908-1917.
Catherine Purcell (1861-1938) married Michael Harty in St Saviours RC, Limerick on the 30th Jun 1891. Children born to them included Annie Harty 1891-1979 & Patrick 1898-1947.
