William Ryan Gubbins (1848-1937) , son of James Gubbins (1800-1880) , married Sarah  ( Sally ) Coll, daughter of Owen Coll of Dromin, Co. Limerick on the 08-02-1888 in Rockhill RC, Co. Limerick.

Their children included  James Joseph Gubbins 12-02-1889,  Mary Teresa 12-12-1890,  Elizabeth Mary  09-08-1892,  Sarah Mary ( Sally ) 12-12-1893  & William Robert  03-12-1894.

Their  mother  Sarah ( Sally ) Gubbins, nee Coll , aged 42 ,died six days after the birth of her son William Robert  due to complications as a result of the birth.

Her widowed husband  William Gubbins  (1848-1937)  then married Co. Dublin native, Mary Cumiskey  (1848-1929)  , daughter of shopkeeper  Charles Cumiskey  in Dublin on the 26-08-1896.  Mary Cumiskey was probably a native of Balbriggan, Co. Dublin.
