Renumber slab (This is a slab stone situated between the Round Tower and the north-west corner of the church. The inscription is not legible. It appears to mark the grave of a Priest.) A careful scrutiny of headstone has enabled me to decipher the following very relevant words from its inscription : 'Reverend Owen Reilly / Pastor of Drumlane’ There can be no doubt that this stone marks the grave of Father Owen Reilly who was Pastor of this Parish in 1787 (Parliamentary Rolls) and who probably died in 1790 (Index to Kilmore Wills). He appears to have lived in the townland of Cornagrow where he held a small farm on lease from Lord Farnham. / /
