D.O.M. / Here lies interrd the body of/ Mrs. Mary Ratican Wife of Mr./ William Ratican of the City of/ Kilkenny who died March/ 25th 1773 aged 59 years./ R.I.P.
Rectangular ledger/slab with rounded top, it is now quite worn and is broken at the centre. It is set into the ground and is subsiding. There is decoration above the inscription but it is very worn. It appears to be an IHS with a cross with expanded terminals in either a sunburst or with rays around it.
Chest tomb of rectangular inscribed cover slab, partially broken. Slab covers plain rectangular panels and six legs and sits on a moulded base. The cover is currently in four parts, not all of which are original to the monument.
Here Lies the Body of Mr./ Michael Butler of the City of/ Kilkenny. Printer who departed/ this life the 24th day of May/ 1779 Aged 41 Years/ May the Lord have mercy on/ his soul. Amen.
Headstone with a semi circular central feature and concave shoulders. There is a scalloped panel in relief at the top of the memorial with a large central floral decoration with a dove at the centre. This is flanked by two angels bearing crosses and holding a scroll with "Gloria in Excelsis Deo". There is a skull and crossbones at the base of the memorial.
This Tablet/ erected to the memory/ of Mr. Hugh Gregg who/ departed this life Decem/ber 1805/ He enjoyed for some years the/ peace of god in Jesus Christ/ during a long and painful illness he/ felt the consolation of the Holy/ Spirit and in his last hours was/ enabled to rest upon the redee/mer as his all in all.
The remains of/ MICHAEL WALL/ of the City of Kilkenny/ Merch.t lie here Interred. He/ died the 5th of February/ 1783 aged 67 years./ Also the remains of his/ Wife and several children.
Mural monument of neo-Classical style, with three tiers: a stylised pediment above a long inscribed rectangular panel which sits on a moulded plinth. It is cracked in the middle of the base and a central decoration on the tympanum is missing.
The remains of Peter Wall Attorney and/ Pub.c Notery are here interr'd. he died/ the 26th June 1806 aged 63 years./ Here Also lieth the body of his brother/ Matthew Wall Esq' who departe this life/ on the 6th day of February 1811 in the/ 62 year of his Age.
Rectangular headstone with a flat top, a central semi circular feature with concave shoulders. An IHS within a sunburst is framed in the top of the stone above the inscription. The decoration is in poor condition and the inscription is badly worn.
Here Lieth interrd the body/ of Mr. Timothy Dunn who Dep./ his Life Decem'r. 10th 1762 Aged/ 72 y.r as also his wife Cathrn/ Dunn al Forristal who departed this/ life May 7th 1736 aged 36 yrs./ "May they rest in in Peace"
