Chest tomb comprising a rectangular inscribed slab (now illegible) with moulded edges, over side and front panels decorated with hexagonal insets. The top element of KKSTMG216 is laying on top of the top slab. Monument subsiding to the Northeast, with the Northeast corner partially buried.
Here lieth the body of Mr Dennis/ Kehoe of the City of Kilkenny/ Merchant who departed this life Mar the 10th 1793 aged 77 years/ And his wife Mrs Magdalen Kehoe/ who departed June the 20th/ 1800/ aged 70 years/ Here lies the body of Miss Gertrude/ Kehoe daughter of the above she died April
D.O.M./ This stone was erected by Mr/ Owen O'Neill in memory of two of/ his Sons who both lie here Interred./ Charles who died Dec the 23rd 1772/ aged 4 years/ and Owen who died Jan the 23rd 1773/ aged 9 years/ Also his Daughter Mrs Jane Way/ who died 7th Nov'r 1796 aged 36/ May they rest in Peace Amen.
Collapsed headstone with rounded central feature and concave shouldered top. An IHS surmounted by a cross with expanded terminals above a heart pierced by arrows, is within a circular sunburst. There is a panel with an elaborate urn with flames and tassels on each side of the sunburst. The stone is slightly damaged at the top.
Inscribed headstone with rounded central feature and concave shouldered top. Decorated at top with IHS surmounted by a cross with expanded terminals and heart with two arrows below, all within a scalloped sunburst. Below the sunburst there is a scroll with ' Gloria in excelsis deo'. Possibly very worn panels on each side of the sunburst.
To the memory of George Scanlon late Sergeant/ in H.M. Regiment of Foot who died at/ Chatham on the 26th day of February 1843/ Aged 37 years/ He served faithfully in the above Corps upwards/ of 20 years respected by his Brother Sergeants/ who have Erected this stone as a Tribute to the/ memory of a good and worthy Soldier
