William Anthony Mann Spiller Esq lived at Uplands, Bandon and as of 1844 he had 20 acres of land. He was the son of Ferdinand Spiller (b 1755-1818) and his wife Martha. He married Anne Laurence Cotter (1793-1857).  She was the daughter of George Sackville Cotter (1755-1831) and Margaret Rogers.  Anne married firstly Hingston and had at least one child, George C. Hingston.  By W.A. Spiller, she had at least  (1) Rev Ferdinand Cotter Spiller who married Anna Maria Bingham, eldest daughter of Lord Clanmorris, (2)Augustus Darrock Spiller who married Esther Waring Belcher, the daughter of William Belcher MD, (3)Anna Cotter Spiller (1835-1888) who married Samuel Wise Hornibrook, the son of Samuel Hornibrook of Kemagara, Bandon (1797-1836) and (4)Georgina Ann Wise on 29th January 1853 in Bandon and emigrated to Canada.

William died in Bandon in 1874 and his wife Anne died in 1857
